Since 1992, upon the formation of the public internet, Tal Thompson, Principal and TAL.com original registrar has been an advocate and early adopter of web application technology. Furthermore, as a real estate professional, Tal has always been a proponent of the latest scientific and most practical land and water conservation practices, while still promoting quality residential and commercial development.
Tal Thompson, has now joined his two passions into a single entity through TAL.com where he integrates his interest for land use and real estate with high tech web development and marketing which have been a part of his career for over 16 years.
Background
After graduating from Duke University, then living and working in the high tech industry of Silicon Valley - California, Tal Thompson returned home to Walton County in 1998. Since Tal has been back in Walton County, he has been involved in the welfare of the county & has chosen to be very active in future land and water use issues.
Bio
• 1998 - Current :TAL.com maintains a full scale Web Development business offering full solutions in web application development, dynamic graphic generation, conception to completion with focus on Government, Commercial Real Estate Development, and Financial Institutions.
• 1995 - '97 : Media Consultants - San Jose, CA ; Provided creative media content development and consultation for broadcast, internet and corporate infrastructures. Integrated various editorial and production, storage, and broadband network solutions. Clients included Industrial Light and Magic, Lucas Arts, Pacific Bell, Disney-Pixar and CNN.
• 1994 -'95 : CNN.com, Atlanta, GA ; Directed and edited the production process and video content for the web and two CD-ROM titles, "Faces of Conflict" and "CNN Time Capsule".
