On May 8th, Xueersi, a subsidiary of TAL Education Group, officially launched the "Xueersi Moral Education Series Compulsory Courses". Zhou Bingde, the niece of Premier Zhou Enlai, former deputy president of China News Service, and former member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, gave the first moral education class to more than 20,000 TAL Education Group teachers.

Yang Fuguang, the national principal of Xueersi, announced the annual plan for the "Xueersi Moral Education Series Compulsory Courses". According to the plan, the moral education compulsory courses are divided into two directions. In order to target the large group of TAL Education Group teachers, the curriculum will focus on topics such as education about loving the party and the country, national new era educational direction, teacher's professional ethics and conduct, and the psychological health of young people, and plan to hold 4 key events throughout the year. In addition, Xueersi will also launch two themed courses for students, "Me and My Motherland" and "Grandpa General Tells a Story", to provide patriotic education to more children through diverse and colorful educational forms.

Yang Fuguang introduced that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. At such a time, the comprehensive launch of the "Xueersi Moral Education Series Compulsory Courses" hopes to fully enhance the ideological and political quality and professional ethics of all Xueersi teachers. At the same time, the students of Xueersi are in the period of forming their worldviews, outlook on life, and values. Therefore, Xueersi hopes to use the moral education series courses to not only teach students theoretical knowledge but also to cultivate their sound and healthy personalities.

Combining her own experience, Zhou Bingde passionately recounted the life of the great leader Premier Zhou Enlai through precious photos, vividly portraying the kind, responsible, selfless noble character and the high-minded sentiment of Premier Zhou Enlai. The Xueersi teachers at the scene expressed that they must not forget their original intentions, remember their mission, actively practice the core socialist values, inherit and carry forward the revolutionary traditions, and turn their love for the country into a spirit of dedication to the country.

Yu Li, the secretary of the Party Committee and President of Smart Education of TAL Education Group, proposed in her speech that she hopes all teachers of TAL Education Group will take the opportunity to participate in the "Xueersi Moral Education Series Compulsory Courses", study earnestly and truly understand them, internalize them, and externalize them in their actions, effectively enhance their own ideological and political qualities, integrate the core socialist values into the entire process of education and teaching, and strive to cultivate comprehensive socialist constructors and successors in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, and aesthetics.

This event, themed "Love the Party, Love the Country, Build the Future", was jointly established by the General Party Branch of the Haidian District Committee Office of the Communist Party of China and TAL Education Group. The secretary of the General Party Branch of the Haidian District Committee Office mentioned in his speech that the Party branch of the district committee office will work together with the Party Committee of TAL Education Group to strengthen communication and exchanges, expand cooperation content, refine joint building carriers, innovate mutual aid mechanisms, jointly cultivate new highlights in the Party construction work of Haidian District, and jointly create a model of paired construction between the party and government organs and private institutions.

Before the teaching started, an activity launching ceremony was held, where Zhang Bangxin, the founder and CEO of TAL Education Group, presented Zhou Bingde with the "Xueersi Moral Education Mentor" appointment letter. More than 40 members of the Party branches of the General Party Branch of the Haidian District Committee Office and the Party Committee of TAL Education Group, as well as more than 200 Xueersi teachers, were present to listen to Zhou Bingde's moral education class. Over 20,000 Xueersi teachers across the country participated in this moral education class through dual-teacher live broadcast.
