General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly stated at the National Education Conference last year that the fundamental task of education is to cultivate moral character and train builders and successors of socialism. In the coming week, 60 impoverished left-behind children from Hebei and Inner Mongolia will be led by a team of experts consisting of national art masters, inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and renowned cultural scholars to visit ancient buildings, schools, and museums with cultural heritage in Beijing. The children will fully appreciate the magnificence of the Forbidden City, the grandeur of the Great Wall, the solemn tradition of the Opening Ceremony at the Imperial Academy, the profound culture at the side of Wenyuan Lake, and the rapid progress of science and technology in our country.

Vice President of 100tal, Wan Yiting, delivering a speech

Impoverished left-behind children, as a special group, need care and assistance from families, schools, and society to promote their comprehensive physical and mental development. Wan Yiting, Vice President of 100tal, said in her speech that this winter camp is an attempt by 100tal to promote inclusive education. 100tal will integrate master classes with on-site visits and experiences, passing on the baton of excellent traditional culture to these children and further promoting educational equity.

In 2018, the China Children and Teenagers' Fund and 100tal collaborated on education and growth programs for young people aged 6 to 18 and their parents centered around the concept of "diversified development, scientific growth" - the "100tal Master Class". This program invited masters such as violinist Lv Siqing, wildlife photographer Xi Zhinong, astrophysicist Zhang Shuangnan, and Nobel Prize-winning physicist Carl Wieman to tell their stories of growth and share valuable experiences, setting a classic and noble standard of values for the younger generation and achieving good social effects.
