On December 3, at the GES 2018 Future Education Conference, the "Open Potential, Cultivate the Future" forum, the Good Future Education Open Platform was officially launched, empowering industry partners with technology.

Based on the deep accumulation of research and teaching of good future technology, the Good Future Education Open Platform provides technical products and solutions that cover online and offline scenarios and span the entire teaching cycle to help education institutions accelerate the normalization and intelligent upgrade of the education industry.

As of now, the Good Future Education Open Platform has cooperated with 1107 educational institutions, covering 234 cities and regions, serving more than 20,000 offline students, and accumulating online class hours exceeding 10 million.

The Good Future Education Open Platform has launched five major solutions and four major product systems to help partners more easily and efficiently obtain Good Future's high-quality solutions and services. At the same time, the Good Future Education Open Platform invites multiple parties to participate, jointly building an open ecosystem, and achieving "open win-win" with partners.

The five major solutions include AI + education, dual-teacher, online live broadcast, future capabilities, and offline operations; the four major product systems refer to Parent Help, Future Magic School, WISROOM, and live streaming cloud.

"Parent Help for parents' problems!" Family education is the source and foundation of all education, covering all age groups before children reach adulthood and permeating all dimensions of children's education. Parent Help will build a communication bridge between parents and education institutions through links, sharing, and openness. Parent Help will rely on personalized user services, precise demand connections, and comprehensive sharing of content and information to closely connect educational supply and demand, jointly building an organic development ecosystem of school education, family education, and social education, and shaping the future capabilities of children.

"Making institutions easier to operate!" Future Magic School integrates the existing technological achievements and teaching experience of Good Future to form a comprehensive solution for dual-teacher classrooms, the Future Magic School platform, teaching and research content, teaching services, training services, and subject services, helping partners to break through the constraints of technology and teaching staff and focus on improving their core competitiveness.

"Children in small towns can also learn English with Harvard foreign teachers!" Good Future has cooperated with the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to apply AI technology in the teaching process. Good Future's WISROOM uses AI technology to bring Harvard foreign teachers to smart classrooms in small towns, truly delivering high-quality educational resources to every classroom.

"Using live streaming to promote educational progress!" The Good Future Education Open Platform will open its independently developed live streaming cloud. The live streaming cloud has been verified for millions of hours and has industry-trusted technology while offering a diversified product system and various AI functions. Currently, the live streaming cloud has provided a comprehensive online teaching solution to many internal and external partners.

Open win-win, building an ecosystem: In the future, the Good Future Education Open Platform will also strive to build an open ecosystem with multiple participants, including the education industry alliance, intelligent education accelerators, developer communities, educator training camps, parent ecosystems, and SaaS service platforms, promoting innovation and win-win cooperation with partners.

At the conference, Chen Xilin, the deputy director of the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that the combination of technology and education first needs to be grounded and then applied to specific needs. "For example, our cooperation with Good Future started from specific projects and solving specific problems, and then developed into broader areas. Both parties have a deepening understanding of problems and technology, and the technology can better adapt to needs. Some new technology will also be generated in the application scenarios, which is beneficial for both parties."

Liang Guoliang, a professor in the Department of Computer Science at Tsinghua University, agreed, "The combination of artificial intelligence and education requires the effective integration of scenario data, algorithms, and new technologies to produce new productivity. We hope to find common points of concern through close cooperation between industry and academia, better solve some problems, and promote product implementation."
